I saw the HVX at EnterprisePhoto for this price and the seller has good ratings - should I risk it and buy it there. I never heard of this company before...

Are you crazy? You've never heard of them before, they don't appear on ResellerRatings, but you say they have good ratings. The only place I can find is RatingsPlanet, which IMHO opinion has been set up soley to bestow five-star ratings on bait-and-switch scammers.

Read the "Where to buy" sticky and go with an authorized reseller.

Update: Please see THIS page. Apparently Enterprise Photo is another face of Best Price Cameras, which has a terrible reputation.

f you do a search on each page for "enterprisephoto", you'll see that these people don't think to much of the company. Before you buy an HVX, check with Panasonic to see if the company is an Authorized Dealer or not.
