HVX200 Firmware update???

Anyone able to help me understand why there isn't any firmware updates since 2009? That's the latest I'm able to find.
 
My guess would be that either A.) there's one in the making or B.) it's an older camera. Pure speculation, mind you. I can see a new one being developed because of new software (like FCP X).

I don't think you'll see any more firmware updates for the 200 series. The last in 2009 v 4.10 provided E series P2 card compatibility so perhaps if a new style P2 card emerges I guess it would be possible, but I think Panny is now focused on the 250 and other new model cameras. The HVX200A camera works fine in FCPX as it is, and I suspect the original 200 does as well.
