Has anyone out there figured out a way to run the camera off a 12v large battery. I have the V plate from Zacuto which holds the battery and powers the Marshall monitor. It would be really good to be able to power the camera from the same source. It would just need reducing from 12v to 7V. Does anyone make a device that does that, and connects to the camera like the A/C power connector and has a D Connector on the other end.

In regards to your question, Anton/Bauer does make a Gold Mount bracket that will allow you to use our 14.4v batteries to power the 7.2v HVX200, and still allow you to utilize the powertap on the Gold Mount to power 12v accessories you may have. The Gold Mount does not mount to the camera itself but is carried in a pouch pak which can be worn on your belt; it has a cable that runs from the Gold Mount and has a feau battery on the other end which you would snap onto the camera.
