the only thing (and I know I'm getting picky here) isn't it too close from the stock shoe mount on the handle or will I still be able to put my LitePanel Micro in there ?

Here is what I have come up with... Prototype #2, but pretty close to what I want final to be... Uses the stock mic mount, can be mounted low or high

Please post thoughts, if it works for our needs, I might have some made for others...

You can add the lite on top of the J-Rod, shock mount on the cameras shoe, and radio receiver on the side.
