HVX to Q

HVX footage shot native 16x9, edited in FCP 5.04
I have searched everywhere (dvx user, the web) and have not been able to get a clear answer to this question. Here is simply what I want to do:

- export a quicktime for web viewing keeping the 16x9 framing

My problem: every export is squished, it doesn't matter what I set the size to...I have tried everything
Every other post on this: explains how to do this in DVD Studio Pro (no help to me I am not burning a DVD)
My guess is quicktime does not know how to squish footage...so do I need another program to do this??? Help!

pixel aspect ratio or pixel shape. it should be 1.3 (?) instead of square. Vegas does that too. i get squichy footage.

select your framing, and then edit your width, it I will adjust the height automatically.
