HVX to interface FCP and external HD monitor

Hi all,

when working with SD, I can feed my HVX (in tape mode)with a firewire from final cut pro. Then I can hook up a tv to the HVX and monitor the fcp sequence on a big screen. simple.

question, can I do a similar set up when working with HD material (in P2 mode), and feed an HD monitor (nebtek) using component cables, via the HVX from fcp

when i'm in P2 mode and I hit VCR mode I get the thumbnail menu's, whereas in Tape mode i would be able to get a video feed in from the firewire.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

HPX170 can do this.

I don't believe the HVX200 ever had a pass through for DVCProHD.
