HVX & Sony HVR-MRC1

I'm wondering if anyone has tried using the Sony HVR-MRC1 w/ a HVX (or even DVX) instead of using a Firestore.

I know the MRC1 could really only interface in SD, but I would think that it could handle 60i, 30p & 24p.

Anyone know for sure?

Just wanted to follow up that I was able to test out the MRC1 w/ a HVX today.

MRC1 worked seamlessly!
(Much better than the old FireStore 100 I had access too. Battery next to dead & corrupt files all over the place.)

HVX was in tape mode at 30p. Footage went right into FCP nice & fast off my FW800 CF reader.

Only thing that I noticed, and want to look into, is that the TC wasn't the same on the tape & card. I don't know if this is something between Sony and Panasonic's FW protocols, something on the MRC1 or something on the HVX.
