now I appreciate what letus have done with this beast called the ultimate, and have even found steven dempseys latest ultimate footage to be quite intriguing. but I have still yet to find footage that screams film the way the sgpro does.

Can someone kind of explaine to me why this is so, and does it have anything to do with the sgs ground glass being more diffused?

Wayne says its the optical coating onthe GG.

the GG has a kind of metallic sheeen to it... its hard to describe. I LOVE my Sg....

But honestly, it has alot to do with lighting.... i can make any Adapter look like this. ITs just getting your contrasts to match up to the camera/Film youre using.

Hi guys can anyone tell me whats better the sgpro or letus extreme in terms of dof and light ? I just bought my sgpro but I have seen the extreme footage and it makes me wonder... somehow I feel the SGpros GG is superior to any other adapter , maybee not the brightest by definately the sharpest of all (at least so far)

the SG is the best look with maybe the exception of the new ultimate but the prices dont compare.

But its like ive always said, spinning is the way to go... its just more flexible.

That first grab is amazing... lighting, comp, design, colors, actor, expression, sharpness, lack of noise...

I think this amazing color and brilliant is a piece of master work.Maybe the set-up is so simple and basic,but i see high DP work on this.This is the biggest mistake here or the forums like this.Do not think all hvx and adapter users can get these kind of images.I am sure if you give vx1000 to Timur and some small light,he will give you great pictures which you can never expect it from the camera...
