HVX scene file editor program

Is the Mac OSX one dead? Shame.

It seems to me that the windows version is dead, much less a mac version...But as for that it was stated earlier in the thread that a Mac version was very unlikely as tlorenzo himself is the windows programmer, and development of P2 Genie Mac software was handled by a separate individual.

I would suggest that if you have access to an XP machine that you test the existing piece of Alpha software, and post(or E-mail) your thoughts, experiences, etc. as this is the only way that even the possibility of a Mac version can come about.

I suggest that anyone else that see's this post do the same...here's the link to the Alpha:

Again I would like to thank tlorenzo for taking on this humongous task, as I realize that ferreting out all those settings and setting up the program must have been quite tedious.

I think the specifications for this application could be simplified a bit to get something useful out the door quickly. It is great that he was testing all of the possible settings, but even as a first milestone just a file editor that slices up the various settings with notation of the purpose would be useful. You would still need to understand exactly what number to put in. So, for example to change the framerate you'd have to know that a value for a certain framerate (24 does not equal 24fps) but at least you would know where that value would go.

Hell, someone could just make a php/perl/python web based frontend to do this, i'd think. Over time, the community to annotate the proper values for each setting.
