HVX Projected / FCP

Hi there,

I have an opportunity to project some HVX test footage in a theater with a high-end digital projector. The producers of my project want to see the best possible resolution that this camera can offer.

My questions are:

What's the best way to export my edited sequence, including transitions, from Final Cut Pro to get full res? Can I re-import an uncompressed file to the camera and play it from there, connected to the projector? Or do I have to transfer the uncompressed footage from FCP to digi-beta and play from a deck?

Thanks!

What sort of "high end projector"? Is it HD or SD? What sort of inputs does it have?
If it's HD the best you could probably do would be to rent a panasonic 1200a or 1400 DVCProHD deck and lay the show back to that and play back to the projector from tape.
You may be able to take the DVI output of a laptop and connect that to the projector however if you are showing a full length movie that might not be the best solution.
