HVX prices dropping too fast?

Some manufacturers, including Panasonic I believe, have a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy make sellers contractually required to not "advertise" their product below a specific price.

If a company does advertise low, the cam isn't from a Panasonic authorized dealer and gloves come off.

I'm definitely a 'Senior Member' now. I define a senior member as having been round long enough to want to scream F$%k! at the top of my lungs whenever I see these kinds of threads. No offense.

Let's give the jrs a little slack - we were all there at one time or another.
And this business of advertising a ridiculously lowball price to try and sell
accessories to the hooked fish is a new one to me, only been around for two or three years that I'm aware of. Before that, even the Crooklyn stores didn't have the gall to advertise the camera at one third the going price!

That said, I'm not sure how you could navigate this site for long and not see
these simlar posts.

Yeah I don't mean any offence to people asking about well below cost equipment but at the same time they have to use their head.

Have you seen the original poster's website/reel?

Really good work so I assumed he was joking by asking what's up.
