HVX - mine finally arrived

[DC]

So yeah, the dealers are getting them and getting them out to customers. Unfortunately, there were no P2 cards available. So, I may hold off awhile until I can do some HD recording before I post my impression of the little beast. And that said, I might just rent the P2's for now.

Now this also means that my DVX100A is up for sale.

Do they estimate when the cards will be available?

[DC]

Nope.

[baquajim]

I spoke to two different dealers and both said they were expecting P2 cards today. I managed to get some somewhere else (they are not selling anymore).

Try calling Lerro Corporation in PA. 412-824-5222.

And Midtown Video in Miami. 305-669-1117.

Both said to wait until after noon eastern time.

And both said they were SUPPOSED to get cards, but we have heard that before.

That turned out to be a good tip -- just returned from a "road trip" to Norristown, PA. The gentleman I spoke with at Lerro (in Pittsburg) referred me to their Philadelphia location.

They did not have any 8's when I called . . . came back with two 4's in my hot little hand. "Let the games begin!"

and thanks!
