If I can get this worked out, I might potentially be shooting a project on an HVX come February. My school runs FCS-2 and I run Sony Vegas at home.
*I am not cutting on FCP. I am cutting on Vegas* (this will not change)
Can I import the MXF files into FCP-6 and then output using the QT animation codec to get the footage into Vegas? I will only be using it for this one project and I really don't want to shell out the $200 for Raylight. I have been having good results with 720p QT Animation footage when I do graphics in AE and import into Vegas so am I right in assuming that this will go just as smoothly?
Any better recommendations?
