HVX Firmware Question

So I'm trying to update my firmware on my hvx for 16gb cards. I follow the link and I save the zip file to my 2gb SD card. Then I put the SD card on my hvx and follow instructions but the "Update" never shows in the menu. Does anyone know what's going on?

Did you format the SD card in the camera first?

yeah. Do I need to open the zip folder on the computer first before I take it over to the hvx?

Yes you have to unzip it before putting it on the SD card.

Step 4 of the "< Preparation of SD card for updating>" states to "Copy the whole folder “PRIVATE” in the extracted folder to the SD card."

I realize that this may seem a little esoteric, so what they are saying is this:

1. Grab the zip file off the website and put it on your computer
2. Unzip the file, Yo.
3. Now that you unzipped that thing, copy the folder called private onto an SD card, Yo!

really? That's strange. Are you sure you're not using micro SD or a high capacity SD card?
