Hvx Bootcamp

Atlanta would be nice, but I know we've got some Florida folks here too. I wouldn't mind making a drive to Jacksonville or Orlando -- we could do this thing at Disney World!

that's too inexpensive, if you ask me. They are GIVING AWAY valuable knowledge. @ that price, I recommend people who are "thinking" about going HD or getting an HVX in the future to sign up just to learn. Even DVX100 owners should go.

Hell, that's cheaper then a cheap tripod!

Me and Barry both have done these kinda "presentations" for other companies, and they usually last about 4 hours. We are really gonna cover the bases though with our bootcamp, so we are going to fill a good 8 hours. Part of the class is a start to finish shoot of a real scene and then finished in post so there is going to be lots to do in one day.
 
I look forward to Vegas then, I will be there, this thing sounds too good to be true. You guys are doing something that is just amazing and are show just how committed you are to this community. For an idea to be posted in a thread and then come to fruition in less then a month is just outstanding. My hat goes off to you, and I look forward to Vegas Boot Camp and NAB

For you just learning about HDbootcamp, its a series of events me and Barry Green are putting on in select cities.

The first one is LA on April 8th, and will be focused on the HVX200.

It is being hosted by Abel Cinetech's new huge Burbank facility.

We are bringing in the incredible D.P Evin Grant and will have lots of freebies and of course Custom Shirts for the attendees.

Space is Limited to 30 people, so we can do intimate hands on instructions and demonstratrations.

Bring your own camera if you can so you are guranteed 100% camera access, or share a HVX in a team if one is not available to you.

HDbootcamp is focused on teaching you the best way to use your tools, from Camera menus to Lighting to Post.

What are the topics going to be covered? Is this an all-day event? Sorry, I think I missed the other thread about this.
 
I'd certainly like to attend however with class caps at 30 It'll probably be hard to get into the NY session. Seems like there's alot of interest.

In that situation a DVD of the info. from the session would be fantastic.
