Hi there.
I recently shot a bunch of 24pN footage, opened a Matrox 720/24pN project, started editing and everything was fine...UNTIL I had an effect I had to render.
Then the 24pN footage got this weird, vertical aliasing on the edges of my subject. I figured I could work around this problem by outputing to DVCPro HD tape and recapturing at 720/59.94p. The footage on the tape playback looks good, but when I try to re-capture the footage back in Premiere, I get the aliasing again.
Anyone working on a Matrox HD ever seee this?
Could this have something to do with the fact that the HVX-200 doesn't shoot a true 1280 x 720 image and the resizing is causing some sort of aliasing issue?
