Just bought hv 20 and use vegas 7. when you click the capture button and the dv or hdv box comes up make sure you check the right box. if you record in hd and leave the dv box checked it won't connect and capture
THose of using Vegas 8, you may encounter a problme with m2t files not working with the program after capturing as well. I am still not sure how to fix the issue, but after capturing it won't except the m2t files from Vegas's explorer or internet explorer. It says "The files dropped in Vegas could not be opened."
For now, I'll be using 7 until I can figure out whats cause this... if anyone else has any feedback on it, please feel free to post!
