I heard it was quite a problem. I've been doing all handheld stuff and I have yet to see any rolling shutter. Is this issue only noticeable after uploading on the pc? I've been shooting at 24p 1/48th. I've done some fast movement and stuff at times, but haven't seen rolling shutter. I'm just wondering if I'm gonna see it on my pc, but not on the LCD monitor or my projector. It worried me at first about getting this cam, but I can't even notice it.

The rolling shutter issue is a problem with vibrations mainly. I have a camera mount for a car, rolling shutter is an issue as soon as i start my car because of all the small quick vibrations.

Under normal usage rolling shutter doesn't show itself much.

Yes. I recently shot some "Drive bye" clips with HV20 for a piece I'm doing. One solution was to hand-hold the camera, set it to IMAGE STABILZE , Shutter was 125 at f5.2 ... ish and have someone else drive. It worked well. of course you get some up/down jogging but hand-holding dampens the car's vibrations.
