I m new to the forum and to the use of my newly shipped hv30.
I want to shoot a film with it, and of course have the best quality i can.
I also think of transfering it to film afterwards, but i m not sure.
I ve watched some real good clips on the internet from the camera...
And from the first sample footage i shot, it s a really good camera and sencor, if only canon let you make full advantage of it (i m talking about the relative few manual controls...)
So i wanted to ask anyone who s had experience with it

- What settings should i use for the shooting? I deffinitely want the closest film look possible. I mean ok, 25fps in cine mode, and be carefull with the shutter speed and the exposure (it can be viewed when, using an sd card, pressing the snapshot button slightly...). Should i also set color to -1? Or is there something else i should be aware of?
- For capturing what is the flawless programm for pulldown and what codec is the most qualified? For editing the best nle programm for 25p? And what project settings should i use?
- Is it better to color correct with the editor programm, or using lights and the camera settings? And what s the best programm for color correction?
- What computer hardware would make my editing easy and flawless? I mean the system requirements to have a convenient workflow.
