Hurricane a blow'n,,, batten down the hatches!

Just found out that some of the damage is from people driving around and running into things. If you're in the path of this thing . . . don't be stupid. Stay off the roads.

My son and Ex evacuated to Raleigh on Thursday. He is coming home too me (in San Diego) Monday.

David and Barry ? Michelle ? You guys okay ?

I'm about 2,000 miles away so no worries on that front, and David looks like he was out of the path. The head of it struck north of Wilmington, and David's south and east of it.

I'm in the southwest 'burbs; was about 95 miles from the eye. We still had 300 miles of tropical storm-force bands pass over us. I say this: it pretty much sucked. For anything more powerful than that, I'm heading out.

DC suburbs got cheated, we only have some light rain here and like 5mph winds. I charged my camera's battery for this? :/ jk, I'm happy it's not serious but I wanted something after all this hype

Me and Irene decided to visit at the same time...

I like the shot at :42seconds^^^^^

Then, your only recourse......MOCKUMENTARY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have fun with it! Please tell me you shot whatever you could. If you told yourself...."screw it" and shot really nothing.........I will be disappointed.

Always be in "record".

For real? We are getting ready for the storm's arrival here in CT. I hope it isn't too bad, but I'm kinda freaked out. Especially since it's moving in during the night. Most likely some winds a bit more than 5mph.

EDIT: And I only have 4 BEERS in the fridge! Don't panic! Right?

Spoke too soon, lights went out 10 minutes later

I thought it would be cool to shoot in the dark without all the ambient light but you literally cant see a thing

It's beautiful outside, no wild winds or rain yet, just a normal rain storm

I played with the wb and got a couple of cool outside shots, but the ISO was jacked all the way up so the grain is going to be crazy
