Hunting Video (sort of)

A chipmunk had been raiding my bird feeders and cleaning them out daily despite their being completely squirrel-proof.

Finally decided my only recourse was to set a trap and shoot the damn varmint.

Captured it all on my Lumix GH1.

WARNING: Not for the squeamish.

Wow. Very nice colors and details. Please post the setting that you used . Also, did you use kit lens ?

Sure would be nice if the kit lens could do that! Here's what I used, etc.

Lens = Zeiss 100mm 2.0 Makro-Planar (Novoflex MFT/NIK adapter)
Film Mode = Standard @ Contrast -2, Sharp +1, Sat 0, NR 0
Shutter = 125
ISO = 100
f/2.5
Distance = 5 feet

720p 60 - dropped into a Premiere CS4 24p timeline.
Slo-mo 40% and 20% (frame blending OFF)
No Color Correction (per se) - only used Adobe "Levels" effect:
(RGB) Gamma = 81
(RGB) Black = 13
(RGB) White = 223

Does anyone know what might be causing faint horizontal lines in this video - almost like interlacing - most noticeable in the reds in places from about mid-frame to top?

Hey, averan - yeah, I'm really liking that lens. It gives a sweet image.

My treatment of the whole subject may have been a bit sick, but that's just me. :)
