I've been working on Color correcting.. I have narrowed it down to a certain look I want, but I think I might be going a little crazy :undecided Any suggestions? Which of the below do you like best?

of the three I'd choose #1 because the other ones are just too sketchy....#1 is the most subtle and I find that much more appealing than the extremes of the last two. thats my 2 cents :p

Well I'm no expert, but I'd go with number 2. It has the best of both worlds. Not too light like the first one and not too dark like the last two.

I like #3 the best. Looks real "filmic".

BTW: Those are som HUGE........trees.

LOL! I knew someone was going to mention that
I am torn between #2 and #3. Maybe something between?

Without knowing the movie's premise or category AND not knowing the context of the shot, it's really hard to make a recommendation. With that said, I like #2 and #3, probably #3 a little better. But that assessment is just based upon an out of context still and not what might be best for the overall project.

I Like 'em BOTH !!!!

Oh, sorry .... If you drag to an NTSC Monitor 1 & 3 are nice. I like blown out highlights ...

But they are OUTSTANDING !!! and Full bodied, well rounded & full of Life ...

Good Luck ! Hmmm... bad boy, go to my room.

I like number 2 the best - really good contrast. Three is a little to heavy and #1 is too flat - while I think that #4 is a little to Tony Scott for my tastes, but that might work too.

i was thinking sometihng in between aswell....at first i thought #1 was nice but the colour seems too bland but i dont believe the blown out look of #3 is necessary....#2 really brings out the green tones of the forest which is nice but seems a bit dark and #3 looks a bit bright....maybe i have to recalibrate my monitor...

Agreed. I thought that all of the color correcting, lighting, etc. that goes into a project needs to reflect the tone of the story itself.

By the looks of it, I'd say she's running from something (duh)...

1,2,4.

Do I suck? Because, I think the dramatic colorization of 4 best fits that shot if it were moving. Maybe I suck at CC?

Seriously, I think 4 is rather robust, I like the rich colors. But, maybe the scene doesn't call for thaT?

my first choice was #3, but after bringing them into Vegas and previewing out to a monitor, #2 looks better to me. A better balance, the girls stin tone stays rich and warm while the jungle still has some detail

Two is probably going to be the best after a fifth review. The others have too little or too much jungle detail.

I still like four!!

Hey is this a running shot ??

........

Yes it is, we used the glide cam for this shot, she was running at 3/4 speed. And thanks for the compliment :)

Lol, this is very subjective man so if you like 4 that does not mean u suck! I am leaning more towards #2

I agree on the monitor #2 looks better, I think its going to be something inbetween :)

Okay, Moe. After watching your trailer, I think I lean more towards #2. I'd like to make sure I get some good detail in the jungle. Then again, #4 could give it a nice stylized look, too. Try a couple of clips of each on different timelines so you can compare them side by side.
