HPX300 with FBC Update.

i shot tested a Flash Seuence I found that with moving subject FBC ON results in a jerk where ever the FBC compenates for Flash but its not like at all places. Despite having FBC ON there still are some Flash bands appearing here & there. I will post few pix & videos & later for your viewing.

Secondly i noticed that despite shooting in day light or abundant Indoor light the camera produces bit grainy images. Unlike HDX900 where the HD images are so smooth looking i found the HPX300 images bit harsh & artificailly sharpened. pls correct me or sugggest me any camera setting as i am shooting a AV these days.

I'm not doing many live event AV stuff.. but the few times I had had unsightly flash bands...
I just put a single frame solid of solid white in post... looks fine..

There's a scene where she is talking to Santa... 1 flash is left as is.. a second flash was replaced with a white frame...

Cheers

Two options to live CMOS sensors

1. Live with Flash bands
or
2. Digest the slight jerk with FBC ON motion footage

BEST OPTION

Forget it for a while & wait till something advanced come in for saving the CMOS sensors from Fbanding.

Can any one suggest me how do i play with menu to have smooth or non grainy footage with this camera.

Big Brother: Have you downloaded the scene files from the Panasonic site? if so, I love VIVID at 30, I put the black pedestal at 0. You should not see grain.

Or, go back to factory default settings and start over. Perhaps bring it into your local camera rental house for a fee and have their best technician walk through all your menu settings till you're happy, then save it as a scene file.
