HPX250 Arrived Today

Ive been nothing but impressed with the 250 in everything Ive seen from it - no, I dont have one. But right now Im thinking I need to add it to the inventory for a long job in the new year. Ill need one for 4 months so rental will cost more than a purchase. That zoom is a beast.

My rental house told me yesterday theyre getting a bunch more as theyve been so impressed by it.
 
Green Barry, I assume of course that the difference - "pleasingness" - of the 250 (in AVC-Intra) has a lot more latitude to be adjusted and optimized in post?
 
Yes, that perhaps the flatter image of the 250 is part of the design since the codec is built for more post work, as apposed to 8 bit 160 which needs to look closer to the final right out of the camera?
 
I'll post up some side by sides when I get a chance.

Really, folks, it ain't no big thing. The 250 matches the 300/370 more, and the 160 matches the HPX170/HMC150 more. But the difference isn't a big deal.
