Just got an email from B&H Photo:

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Dear Valued Customer,

$4600 is a great price for the 170.

Abel sells at $4750 last time I checked, and offers an excellent customer service.

I avoid B&H at all costs...great place to go look at stuff...but I purchase elsewhere. I only buy there when I have to or need something asap.

I was told by some folks at panasonic that with my discount it'll probably be around 5,100...

4,799 sounds much better.

Waiting for these E-series cards is like watching water boil:(

Yeah, I got announcements from a bunch of companies that they had them in stock. I wonder if Panasonic will switch their "R Series included P2 cards" in camera packages and sell them with "E series" for the same price to maximize profits for awhile.....

I understand everyone has their own opinions... I have purchased all of my equipment from B & H and have always had great customer service and received good deals and high quality items.

To each his own... :)

I would be startled if they didn't.

Although I personally recommend companies like Abel and Spec-Comm for their customer services and knowledge, I had purchased from B&H several times and always had a good experience.

You will have to call for pricing or PM me your email address so that I can email you pricing. Dealers can no longer "add to cart for better price". We are working on this being as automated as possible but it won't be up on the store until tomarrow at the latest. My contact info is in my signature. We have cameras in stock. Our price is a little above B&H but remember, included in the price that I send you, you get FREE ground shipping and your choice of 2 additional long-life batteries or one addition long-life battery and a coverlens.
