hpx170 help - losing quality... or something?

hello all.

my problem is simple but im a noob. ive recorded some test footage on the 170 to see how it looks, but i dont know the proper way to view the footage. what i do is plug the camera in, and view it in p2 viewer.. but the footage seems to jitter a whole lot. meaning it skips, or slows down for no reason, or gets fuzzy when the camera moves - stuff like that.

i was thinking that p2 viewer might be a basic viewer but it also happens once i've imported it to adobe premiere - or even when i watch it with programs like nero showtime (a player, similar to powerdvd).

is there something im supposed to be doing to get it running normal - just like the way you guys who post vids up in the 'screen grabs' section for the hpx170...

Capture it into your NLE, edit/color correct it and output a nice compressed version like H.264 or what have you.

Yep, just as Noah says. also, when I view the playbacks (before importing into NLE) it jitters too.

it jitters when i import it into premiere (nle i use) as well - agh ill figure it out
