HPX help?

hey all. I'm currently renting out an HPX from my school for the next few days and I have a quick question; where can I get P2 drivers? I found a link but they don;t seem to do anything. I'm connecting the HPX to my iMac directly (through firewire) but it doesn't seem to want to maount.

any help?
 
Could you tell us what you did that didn't work with what drivers on what version of OS X? And what procedure did you use to try to mount the cam?

I'm using a 24 inch imac, leopard.

I tried using log and capture in FCP and it didn;t come up, checked the manual, and it said to go to disk utility to find the camera and it's not there. I went online and downloaded p2pccardinstall and then it still wouldn't be recognized by FCP or disc utility. I've tried three different firewire cords JUST to be sure that it's not the cord and it's thoroughly pissing me off >_<
 
Are you putting the camera in Firewire mode?

Go into playback mode then hold down that same button for a few seconds. The camera will go into firewire mode and it should pop up as a drive on your desktop. If USB mode flashes when you hold down the button go into the menu settings and change it to firewire.
