HPX 170 overcrank dof

I just got an HPX 170 and have been experimenting with overcranking. I was having trouble getting a shallow depth of field while shooting at 720/24pn and 60 fs. I shot with the iris as open as it would allow, zoomed in, and had the subject stand far away from the wall I was trying to put out of focus. Am i doing something wrong or is there a deep depth of field when overcranking.

The camera has a small sensor, so compared to something like a Canon 5D MK II will a full frame sensor, the HPX will give a much less pronounced DOF.

What frame rate you are recording in has no effect on your DoF.
