HPX-170 and USB connectivity

I'm sure this is an obvious question, but I'll ask it anyway-- does the HPX-170 have the ability to connect to a PC via USB for offloading the way the HVX200 models do?

This is particularly important to me, as I use GNU/Linux on my notebook, and the only way I can offload my cards in the field is via USB, since there aren't P2 drivers for Linux.

Also, since this camera is coming out in ~ a month, maybe it's time to give it its own forum section?

An excerpt:
It is equipped with an HD/SD-SDI output standard for live feed productions as well as for editing and monitoring. It also has a 6-pin locking IEEE 1394 interface and an USB 2.0 interface for fast P2 content transfer into NLE systems.

How do you offload using a USB port?

(Still don't own the camera, I'm also interested)

This is only from the Panasonic press release, as for as how will it work maybe the few who handled the camera may know for certain as this camera has not shipped yet.

On the HVX200 and HVX200a, you set the camera to USB Device mode, and then switch to MCR mode. The P2 cards will then show up on your PC as "Universal Mass Storage Devices" -- just like regular flash drives. This allows Linux to transfer files to and from the cards.

I assume the HPX-170's USB mode will work the same way, in which case I'm probably okay.
