And I haven't even run into any more David's on this site so it was meant to be.

I found DVXuser by searching for "coolest forum with the coolest members" and WALLA!!! Figure if I'm a member here then that automatically makes me cool by association.

looking at the dates of join date, I realized I joined this forum before anyone who posted and all of the moderator who posted in this thread and I'm still not popular.

Like many others, I was trying to decide on a camera, and while searching yahoo for random reviews, I found this wonderful article: "Sony HDV FX1 vs. DVX100a vs. Canon XL2 by Jarred Land and Barry Green"
Since then I was hooked. I decided to get the DVX. I did. I read posts all the time, and eventually registered and started posting stupid question only to find that they would basically all get answered without hesitation, and that I myself could answer some. Now I'm stuck, and here I am. Wheee.
