AC90: How to tell when audio peaks

Had a few hours to play with an AC90 and was wondering how to tell if the audio level is set? There's no color change on the level meters when the audio peaks. So how do we tell?

You will see RED bars if it peaks.

That's nice to hear. I had to send the camera back (faulty unit) so I can't check but I have to assume I had an auto audio gain turned on. Had the unit 2 hours when I found the problem (with audio no less) that sent it back but yelling into the mic didn't get a red level bar so I thought maybe no clipping indicator but I bet I had an auto gain on.

There seems to be three ways to configure audio that I can see depending on what is selected where in the menu array.

1. Auto
2. Manual with ALC
3. Manual.
