so i graded something on one computer, and on another pc it looks like crap, obviously I have to get a calibrated monitor one day if i hope to grade anything watchable on anything other than youtube one day.
what are other tools for this tho-
do you advanced folks use a waveform monitor to make sure you got your highs and lows?
I used an "auto levels" plugin since my nle has no waveform view, but of course this just made sure i had a full raneg of tones, which doenst fix the overall brghtness/darkness of the footage
guessing thats vital as i move forward
do yo u guys watch your stuff on different tvs and monitors to check it ? thats what wed do when making electronic music/mixing down
hope it deosnt sound like im asking for whole mastering/grading tutorial or anything
wondering whats next on my radar and what i should try in the meantime to get my footage watchable on more than one pc
