I did not know until recently that the Firewire hard drives can only hold 15 partitions, when I read Barry's book. I am in testing mode currently, as I received the HVX200 last week. Here's the problem.
I do not have access to my editor until next week (who has a Mac and Final Cut Pro), and each time I dump my test footage to my hard drive, it creates a partition. I will have created 15 of these virtual cards on my hard drive any day now due to shooting a lot of footage. I do not want to erase any footage, as I want to show it to my co-director for comparison. Here is my equipment below. Any suggestion? Thanks.
