How to Shoot Clip with Variable Speeds

I've searched the forum for the answer to this question and didn't come up with anything.

Ok. So I know how to get good slow-motion by shooting 60p 125 shutter etc. Then conforming it to 24p using Cinema Tools.

However, if I wanted to do a shot with varying speeds from normal to slow-motion, how should I go about shooting this? 60p or 24p. My timeline is a 24p.

24p doesn't look as good slowed down. And 60p at regular speed doesn't have the film look.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If youre conforming the 60p footage to 24p in cinema tools, then just resize it at the same time. Because youre conforming it to 24p for slow motion then it shouldnt have a problem matching with the native 24p footage.

only way is to do it in post, shoot at 60fps to get the best slow-mo although the regular speed stuff will read a little differently, I think if you render it out as 23.96 for your final output then it should look ok.
