How to shoot 1080p 120fps or 1080p 100fps with A7s like this video?

i would take a wild guess and say that the 100fps/720p footage was upscaled on a 1080p timeline.

with youtube compression, it wouldn't look bad compared to the 50fps/1080p.

How did you get the slow motion like that? I thought the a7s only does 24/60/120fps?
It looks a lot slower than 100fps...

a7s has 25p, 50p, 100p in european standard frame rate

Did you do any adjustments in post? It seems a lot slower? Fantastic footage!

You need change mode NTSC/PAL and format SD card. Then You can shoot in 100p in 720

+David Faulkner No. I did only option: "interpret footage" in Premiere. 100fps assume frame rate to 25p. Thanks for comment.

Well, he says he shot both 120p and 100p, by changing the camera between PAL and NTSC (only available in certain Asian cameras, and it requires a card format with every change of this setting). And he also said he shot 1080p100, which I believe is not correct (I also think it is upscaled 720p120, but I don't care a lot about it anyway since the NTSC-PAL selection thing is kind of a pain).

^ But it's reaaaaaally soft 1080p. Sharper than the 720p120 from the a7S, but nowhere as nice as the 1080p120 of the NX1.

Coming from the GH4, I think the 96fps looks better than the A7s 120fps. I like the NX1 a lot but the DR isn't there, IMO.

Of course. My tests with the a7S and GH4 are here, they include these modes. What I meant is that the 1080p96 from the GH4 is soft, not that it is softer than the 720p120 from the a7S, which is barely usable depending on your subject.
