Slightly off topic ...but just received and interview shot with 2 GH3's and the talent has red lipstick on her tooth!! I am meant to edit this and am not sure of possibility of a re-shoot! Can anyone please give me any tips/software on how to remove the lipstick ... Thanks!

I'd post this in the Motion Graphics and Effects forum, the solution will apply to any type of footage, not just the GH2.

It won't be easy or fast to do. If it's a lot of footage (more than 30 seconds) you'll spend less time reshooting than trying to fix it in post.

This will be a job for After Effects. There will be a lot of tracking, stabilizing and rotoscoping.

1. Track the lipstick spot for every frame.
2. Find a piece of clean tooth close to the lipstick, roto it out in the shape of the lipstick spot.
- 2a. You can freeze this frame, but then it won't have natural grain or light changing going on, and it may stand out.
- 2b. Alternatively, you can track and stabilize this piece of tooth, which requires a lot more work, but will look a lot better.
3. Move the roto'd clean piece of tooth over the lipstick spot and attatch it to the lipstick track. Feather and composite as needed.

Done!

once you have the mask built, and tracked in After Effects you don't need to paste in a new piece of tooth

its a simple adjustment layer thats all - desaturate then lighten
