How to read camera setting details from a MOV File?

it's possible to find out the used camera settings like F, Shutter Speed, etc.. from a MOV File?

Not from the MOV file. But you can pull those details from the .THM file that the camera makes alongside the video file. Just rename it to .jpg and open the properties.

Nice to know. I'm using ML on my T2i so I simply enabled the log setting in the menu and I get all the info in an additional .LOG file along the .THM and the video.

Oh, yeah - I forgot about that. I don't need these details so I disabled that feature.

I don't particulary need them, but as it's only in a 4kb file, it doesn't weight that much not to have it on the card along the videos.
