ALL: How to Quickly Produce Slow Motion

I use my AC90 to video horse shows, shooting everything in 60p and producing AVCHD DVDs using Adobe Premiere Elements 11. The AC90 is perfectly suited for this - the depth of field of the small sensors allows me to set the focus at M93 and keep the entire ring in sharp focus. When a veternarian heard I had a "60p video camera" he asked if I could do "gait analysis" for him... what is that I asked.... Many times a Hunter/Jumper horse (think Grand Prix jumping in the Olympics) will pull a tendon or slightly injure one of the many joints in their legs. Most of the time it is obvious to the trained eye what/where the injury is, and appropriate steroid injections to the site that relieve the inflamation can be administered. Sometimes it cannot be seen, so what "gait analysis" consists of is videoing several 10-15 second clips of the horse jumping then watching it (on site at the stable) in slow motion. Windows Media Player can play the clips, of course, but I do not see a slow motion option. My next thought was to open a Premiere Elements project on my Windows laptop, set the timeline to 24p, drop the 60p clip on the timeline, then play it. But while Premiere Elements ofers 60p, it does not offer 24p. Does anyone have ideas to offer? Note that I do not need to produce a DVD, just play the clip(s) in slow motion. I imagine it could become an iterative process - video a few jumps, put the SD card in the laptop to xfer the video, play it in slo-mo - if the veternarion does not see what he is looking for, then it is back to the training ring for more video. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

I have found an answer to my post - a free shareware program called VLC Media Player. Incredibly powerful and easy to use, it plays AVCHD files and allows changing playback speed (during playback!) by pressing the + or - keys. Many other options.... Their website is www.videolan.org.
