Like the title says. When I had a Canon 7d i was able to take my memory card and play the files right on Quicktime. However when I use a GH2 and insert my memory card the files are in MTS and cannot play in Quicktime. Is there a way where I can play my files right when I insert my memory card ? Please help. Thanks

VLC works if you add .MPG to the MTS, it's free but adding the suffix takes a little time.

EyeTV will play MTS files. Best to copy files to Mac. Select one MTS file > Get info / Open with . EYETV > change all. Now when you click any MTS file it will play with EyeTv.

Now, the best choice would actually to use Clipwrap. Takes only a couple of mins and it will convert the wrapper of .mts files to an H.264 container, then programs like Quicktime can Natively play all your files.
After you convert the files, Adobe Bridge can then organise and tag these files. So its also an excellent solution to file management.
