How to mount missing P2 Store volumes on a Mac

If you've had the problem where occasionally a volume on the P2 Store fails to mount (i.e., appear on your Mac desktop), this document describes how to manually force all the volumes to mount onto the desktop.

Would this also work if you have saved .cdr images of the card? I have footage that I saved to a primary drive and has no problem mounting. My other drive that these disk images were copied to, fail to mount a couple of the images.
