How to Import GH1 movies and save dir structure?

Hi all

When using Panasonic MainConcept to convert the MTS files, the program need a full directory structure as was on the card. This is a very good way to work with AVID so I must keep the original directory structure.

Windows 7 import is no keeping the full structure, and ACDSEE imports pics only (and mov)

My questions is, if any one know about a nice import program (like nikon transfer) for windows, that have a lot of config options, and import movies and can save directory structure.

Can the PhotoFunStudio know how to do it ? (lost the cd so can't check)

Thanks

Ady.

PhotoFunStudio will import four files for each clip. They'll all have the same filename and there will be four different file types, includng the .mts file with the actual movie.

Thanks

I have downloaded version 3, no support in GH1.

Any idea?

Where I can get this program?

I'm probably misunderstanding the question, but here I simply drag and drop the entire card contents into my (XP) PC, and nothing is lost - and nothing else is required to do the job.

no you didn't , but not the way I want to work... for now, this is what I do, but I prefer a good import program that will create the directories in the proper place, according to the date.

I tried to write email to pansonic support, but they have the worst support site I have ever seen.

I have a folder called "GH1". Each time the card fills up, I create a new folder in the GH1 folder called "2010-04-04" (or whatever the transfer date is) and maybe add a comment so it's "2010-04-04 herons". Then I drag the folder contents into that. That keeps everything in date order with a very rough indication of contents. If you add a text file to the folder describing the content in more detail you can later search the GH1 top level directory for a keyword and thus find the subfolder containing the relevant content.

Thanks

multiAVCHD is a very cool program, but why I have to add work for my self ( I have too much already :) ) instead of using the build in...

About copy the card, I had few times, when shooting on daily basis, not in a project or something, that I have imported all the images with automatic import ( ACDSee ) and then forgot to copy manually the movies... then I deleted the card.

I want it to be automatic import (pop up dialog) that will create a directory according to the date and tag.

Windows 7 does that very good, but not saving directory structure.

All I need is a simple import software that can be customized...

I always download my 720p videos using the supplied FHOTOfunSTUDIO HD 3.1 as m2ts files which I can import easily into Picasa or other viewer. I've K-Lite Mega Codec installed on my XP Pro SP3 machine.
