How to disable DVX100B internal mic ?

I'm new to DVX-100B.
When I shot one classroom seminar recently, I set up Sennheiser wireless mic and receiver on camera to capture tutor's speech and it ran well.
However, I didn't know how to disable the internal mic. As a result, the DVX-100B also recorded the noise around the camera, especially when people talking to the cameraman next to the camera.
How can I disable the audio recording from the internal mic ?
Many thanks.

On the front of the camera are input level selectors (MIC or LINE). On the side of the camera are record source selectors, signal routing selectors, and phantom power selectors.

Make sure that your inputs are set for the appropriate sources (in your case, MIC).

Set your source selectors to Input 1 and Input 2. Do not use phantom power unless you have a microphone connected that requires it.

If you are using only one mic, you can rout it to record to both channels. Simply connect it to Input 2 and set Input 2 as your source for both channels.
