How to? 7d with Shoulder Mount and Follow Focus?

What are you using with your redrock shoulder mount to raise the camera up to be used with the Redrock Follow focus? I currently have the shoulder mount and have previously used cinevate's system to raise up the camera, but with DSLR it does not work. What are you guys using as your methods?

Whenever you say redrock, you often find yourself using the same voice and emulating the kid from the shinning when he says Redrum?

I got one of the cinema bundles, which has the dslr quick release plate. That raises it to the follow focus's level. They also have something to make it work with the battery grip.
