how reliable is the C300's internal waveform monitor???

As I am seriously considering moving up to the C300, I have a crucial question to ask about it's onboard monitor:

Have any of you who have shot on the C300 felt the need to use an external waveform monitor?

Or do you consider the C300's waveform monitor accurate enough that there is no need to use an external monitor?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

It's a great tool to have.

But when you have all the screen data and the waveform on screen, you can't see your image. After I'm done exposing I always turn everything off and just look at the shot.
