Canon XH A1 with about 1-2 hours on the head? The current price on B&H is 3400. The reason I ask is because I am thinking of selling mine, but would like to know the ballpark price to sell before I go to marketplace. BTW, there's nothing wrong with the camera, brand new condition.
 
Well...techinchly the BH price is 3,150 after the rebate...so...1-2 hours..as long as it is a legit U.S model...you would get no lower than 2,700
 
Actually I'm not even sure there's a rebate going on right now. B&H doesn't say anything about one (and they usually announce that). I did a search on the Canon website and that $250 rebate ended as of Dec. 31st and no new promotions are listed for the A1.

So I would call Canon first and if there is indeed no new rebate, this is an excellent time to unload your A1.
 
that's wierd...because just like two days ago i saw BH had the rebate from last year extended from january to march of 08.....wierd that they would put it up and take it down
