How much battery life will this give me

With a Sony V-Mount Battery @14.8V - 160Wh
How long would it last if plugged into a Canon T2i by itself?

Would an external battery extend recording time?

Also, Im looking for an LP-E8 coupler to work with this battery. Lemo Capable or d-tap.
Where can I find one?
All the couplers I found were for AC power to a wall outlet and this one:

But i dont know how it would connect to the movcam v-mount bracket & converter

If my math is right, that's about 11,000 mAh. Considering a normal LP-E8 is about 1100 mAh, I'd say an awful long time!

Yes, 11,000mah at 14.8v. Its double that at 7.2v (camera voltage). But you also need that Lanparte voltage converter (or something similar) shown in the link you have for the cable.

I didn't find a power consumption listed in the user manual specs, so there is no way to spec how long 22000mah will last. But it would be 20x what the camera battery provides (less the power conversion in-efficiencies).

How do I determine how long such a battery will last with any camera?
Like if I were to use this battery for a DSLR and for say the BMC or RED Epic.

I want to know how to calculate it so I can figure out how many batteries I'd need.

You need to know power consumption of the camera. But this is difficult to determine as the power used varies with how it is being used. So they don't publish a power consumption spec.. But if they did this is how you do it.

Battery duration equals watt-hours divided by watts consumed in hours

Example: battery is a 1watt-hour battery. The camera consumes 1 watt. The battery will last 1 hour

There are variations on this depending upon what numbers you have and what conversion of terms that needs to be used. You may have a battery rated in milliamp hours.

The math to convert one term from the other is Power = current x voltage
