Hi, :Drogar-Mad(DBG): Many reviews of either 14-45 or 14-140, OIS is always tested in Photography. :Drogar-Angry(DBG):

I don't have these lenses, because I got 20mm Pancake.
But I am planning to buy 14-42mm lens with OIS just becuase mostly I shoot video handheld.

So I need OIS to work in video just like any pro camcorder.
Please let me know How good does it work in video Mode on GH1.

Thanks!

I find that the ois is the most desired feature that I would have on a lens since I shoot mostly handheld. With the ois on the stock lens, I can zoom to 140mm (X2) and get usable footage. There is no way I would be able to do this without the ois. I found that it took some practice to get used to as the ois as it tends to sway like a ship on water. If you anticipate the swaying then you should be able to steady your shots out quite a bit. I would suggest heading out to a camera store to try one out as it is a big investment....

Hope that helps!

OIS in the 14-140mm is not as good as my old Sony HVR-A1 HDV camera (prosumer).

I've watched a bit of mojo's footage, and he's got STEADY hands.

Practice makes perfect I suppose.
