hey. im looking at buying a stabilizing system, either a glidecam 2000, 4000 or steadicam merlin for my xha1 but was wondering how fast can you actually move with these as i would be using them to film action sports and really need to move at least at a slow jog. will any of these systems be able to handle such movement and still maintain a decent amount of fluidity. if so what one would work best? i can't really afford an arm support or vest either so it would just be the stabilizing system.
thanks.

Well they get heavy. I'd get to GC 4000 over the GC 2000. They're more or less a stick with a cheese plate and a gimbal that's counter balanced. I'd venture to say that it'll take lots of practice to be able run with one of these "sans vest."

If you can properly balance your XHA1 on it though, it should work. Your arm is going to get ridiculously tired about about 5-10 minutes with it though. That's what i've found.

Indeed. Your arm is going to kill you. I got an arm brace which helps to extend the period till your arm is dead to about 20-30 Minutes.
