I am trying to synch a Bosch Rangefinder that I have permanently mounted on my AG-AC160A.
Does anyone know what the distance is from the front of the camera to the point where the camera measures distance?
The Rangfinder has a bias that you can store in its memory. You have to measure, then push a button to add/subtract your memory value which is unfortunate.
I wonder if there are meters that will start up with a stored bias to save the extra step?
Of course, its possible that use of a laser meter is a waste of time. I suppose the main reason I started this procedure was to have a double reading on distance.
I really wish for stage presentations that I could have three stored distances with an easy button to press to toggle between the three (front, middle, rear). Again maybe I should just turn on autofocus.
