Hello,

Just started working with the c300 mk2.. now my main client is still editing in final cut 7.. for them i do not shoot 4k.. everything is HD..
so i guess they have to transcode everything to prores?... what kind of program for transcoding would you recommend?

thanx a lot..

EditReady is a reasonably cheap 3rd party app that transcodes XF-AVC to 422 super, super quick.

I use a C100 mk II, but I get nice ProRes files off of my Shogun... Really high bit rate, and they edit well. Other Atomos external recorders will also do that. I suggest this rather than just transcoding because of the time and possible degrading of the footage. Just a thought...

@Plexi Head... thank you very much.. EditReady is now bought and running on several machines .. very intuitive simple program..
@Pascal_Parvex ... could not find this plugin for Final Cut 7.. but i do know the XF-AVC Files run in Final Cut X ..
@LDBecker and jcs .... thanks for the tips...
